Breakthrough in Medicine!
Campaign for the College of Medicine
You can be part of the Breakthrough in Medicine and help us reach our fundraising goal of $66 million! We invite you to join us in the next chapter of transformation and help us bring a new, private medical school to southern Nevada.
Founded in 1999, Roseman University of Health Sciences has been quietly laying the foundation of excellence, and achieving the vision to be a “best in class” institution of higher learning.
The need is there. Roseman University will fill that need by providing a private education that graduates top notch physicians, who will in turn, contribute to a healthier Nevada.
The College of Medicine at Roseman University of Health Sciences will educate competent, caring and ethical physicians; conduct biomedical, translational, and clinical research that advances solutions to the healthcare needs of the communities that Roseman serves; and provide high-quality, patient-centered care and service to our neighborhoods.
Roseman will develop clinical practices, offering inter-professional opportunities for our medical, pharmacy, nursing, and dental students. Through the LENS program, (Longitudinal Experience in Neighborhood Service) medical students will also serve at healthcare delivery sites throughout the region that treat all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Partnerships with nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers and primary care physicians will further enable Roseman medical students to serve the community and residents in need. This component of our curriculum emphasizes the importance of our community in the learning of our medical students.
